Welcome, I am Emmanuelle, a french designer, I created Alice and Co Designs to share with you my passion for Step by Step Patterns and Designing Techniques so that you too can create your own signature quilts. Join me in this adventure...
I have created for you these three workshops allowing you to dig deep into the different techniques available to make these stars. Each one having it's own specificity, by the end of your project you will be making amazing quilts full of stars.
A mini journal to write your work of the day, your word of the day and your color of the day, and making a quilt top as the days go by...
It isn't just about cutting fabric and piecing fabric. It is about telling a story from the past or from the present, it is about sharing with others moment of your life as we always remember the time we made a quilt. We will remember the time spent on a specific detail of a piece of fabric that just wouldn't fit together, or not finding the perfect color. Whatever the time spent to make the quilt, we have a story to tell.
The Quilt is the end result of all that cutting, piecing, batting, quilting and binding. Wether we made it by hand or by machine, we chose the pattern, we chose the fabric, we chose the set up, we chose the end result: a bedspread, a sofa conforter, a pillow on a chair, a cover on a book. Whatever the size of the quilt, it will become an heirloom that we will keep as long as we can, to remember the person that made it.

I have been creating for the past decade patterns and spreadsheets to teach and get you going on the amazing journey that is Quilt Making:
From choosing the shapes and colors through to the piecing, quilting and binding, all the blueprints you need to understand patchwork patterns and get creative yourself.
I am a french designer, created this business in 2006.
I have been passionate about quilts for as long as I remember, I love thinking them, designing them, making them and using them.
I have taught classes, worked for magazines, made a book, had a fabric collection come out. So you can trust me when I say I know my way around quilts.
I also have a Craft Trainer Award certificate, which gives me the skills to create technical but easy to use workbooks.
So give it a try, have a look at this workshop and enjoy all the quilts that will come out of it.
